About

Swede Larson is a classical guitarist, performer, composer, and arranger whose work is centered on music as lived experience rather than display.

After more than three decades with the guitar, his playing has been shaped by a deep engagement with the classical repertoire, from Renaissance and Baroque music through Sor, Giuliani, Ponce, Barrios, and beyond. His work has included concert performance, teaching, arranging, publishing, and the creation of hundreds of editions and original works for guitar.

His current project, After the Last Note, brings those strands together through intimate recital films, recordings, and writing. The focus is simple: to let the music speak fully, and to remain with what is left after it ends.

Swede continues to perform, record, publish, and build a body of work rooted in reflection, discipline, and the enduring expressive power of the classical guitar.
